Soft Snow Shuffle

Amie isn't quite the young pup that she used to be, the snow doesn't have such an allure as it did.

She tends to pick her front feet up and shuffle her spindly back one's across the snow.

Never going far, only to the small bridge in the park at the back of the cottage.

Over the last few days she has a knack of keeping to the side of the path.

Ignoring young pups out to play.

Heading home after a few minutes.

Far too cold for the older generation of Cavalier out there.

We have found our Bah Humbug hat.

If you haven't already put your name down for the Soggibottom Christmas bear Giveaway, it's not too late. Let me know on this post and I will include you, as long as your on Amie Soto Blossom's followers, friends and best mate list, your welcome to enter. For all those that have already entered. Good luck.

That is if I can sneak the hat away from the back of Frank's head....

One of the paintings in the cottage is on our daughter in law's blog.

Just visited Becca's blog and seen her lovely work!
Clovis is a bit more enthusiastic about the snow today, even played a little bit with a couple of other dogs..we, on the other hand, are pretty fed up with shivering our way round the fields in arctic conditions....

Awwwweee, Amie looks so comfy. I don't blame her a bit, I wouldn't want to go barefoot in the snow, either! Brrrr, it must be very cold on the toes....I hope you are having a great Sunday.

Merry Christmas!

We can understand that Amie wouldn't be too crazy about the snow, but we sure would love some. Even Phantom likes the snow, just not the cold.

LOL I think Amie is brave going out in it. Here the wuss hounds are in and out at speeds which belie their ages! :-) Some sweet fire sharing has been going on with any jumpers left laying around being snaffled to join the nest in a heap in front of the fire. Comfort seeking hounds!

My Mollie-dog loved the snow up to the end - but Abby has never liked it at all. I'm with Amie, I stick to the side of the path too.

Ahhhh, yes... sleeping inside while it snows... only thing that could make it better? Cup of Hot Chocolate. Although maybe not so good for Amie
