Not the day for paddling

Not a day to be out and about, especially on the beach today, even if it looks great walking weather. Don't you just hate it when the wind blows and shows all your bits !

Not many people dipping their toes.

You always get one...............

Out in all kinds of weather no matter what.

One of the two Egrets that visit the stream beside the cottage.
They catch brown trout, don't hurry to get your fishing line out though as the fish aren't that big, but big enough for an Egret.

The word fish or brown trout doesn't do much for Mew.... too well fed.

Mew has the right idea, stay in where it is warm and take a nap!
I bet Amie didn't like the cold
air up the back of her coat!

We are quite heavy coated and we love the cold. In fact, we see Mom getting all bundled up now to take us for a walk. It's pretty chilly here but the sun is out. Off we go. Stay warm.

The hounds are definitely wanting to hibernate now. The weather is getting colder even here.

I hate the wind, thinking of warmer days and a nice stroll on the beach;)

Gorgeous bird and a good picture.

We've had a cold wind blowing here, too. I think Mew is wise. Stay inside and stay warm.

Mew looks so cozy. Windy here today too.

I hate it when the cold air blows up my skirt, lol! Poor Amie! Aren't you lucky to have visits from egrets.

Hermoine [my kitty] doesn't go for real fish either, she loves her kibble - she's too well-fed as well!

So, was this walk in the cold your idea or Ames'?
