Painting, Bee's and the Witch's Cat

I'm not a fantastic painter.
Lets rephrase that. I do not paint.
So in case your wondering no, I didn't give the cottage bear any help with his painting.
The painting is an original by Caroline at Uniqart.
I won it earlier in the year in one of Caroline's giveaway.
I think I probably won it for all the cheek and teasing I give her.

As the bear is sitting in the window with his paintbrush, how can I not add one of our garden sunflowers Obviously with a bee or two.

It wouldn't be a cottage without lavender.

It maybe slightly twee to have lavender and sweet peas, I grow them because I love them.

Lots of colour around in the garden at the moment.

Somethings take longer to grow ripe ready to pick than others.

The grape vines are full and seem bigger this year. These are dessert grapes. We eat them. No wine, as the grapes never hang around for long.

This Witch's cat has absolutely nothing to do with my garden or cottage, Caroline is having another giveaway.... it's always a fun giveaway. You can click HERE or click on the side bar where I normally leave all your lovely giveaways until their time is up and the draw takes place.
I'm always happy to put your beautiful art in all forms on the side bar when you are having a giveaway, so let me know.

This Witch's cat on the other hand has something to do with the cottage.
There is a mouse short around here.
Innocent Frank isn't !

A 17th century English cottage should have sweetpea growing!

May I take you up on your very kind offer of a couple of wooden cotten reels, please? I really need 2 tall ones of about 2" high if you have any.
Much appreciated,
Christine

You may not be able to paint, but you take some lovely photographs!
Thanks for the mention - perhaps I should have named the witch's cat Frank Junior!

You do have fun dressing bear up in different outfits.
Wonderful things in your garden both edible and not.
Don't the mice know about Frank yet?

I think I need to win that kitty, it is just too neat.
Your black kitty would make a nice piece to recreate.

Hi Midge
My mommy thinks your bears are the happiest bears on earth. She said she would like to be a one of your bears. Oh to sit and stare, and drink tea!
You are an artist Midge. You paint with your words and your photos and your heart. We feel everything you say.
We love your sweet peas, and all the lovelys you share with us.
My mommy took a photo of a bee on a flower last week. She thought it was good UNTIL she saw YOURS! Wow, nice job.
We just love everythig about you
