Teds in trees and cows in fields, know your place

I keep telling everyone how green it is in Devon at this time of year.

Probably why Devon has so many cows.
Why are cows so nosy ?

This is the pasture next to the cow field.
I thought it would explain exactly what I mean about everything looking green.

As it's a Bank Holiday we don't tend to head for the beach , we normally stick to the lanes around the village when we go for a walk.

The blue bells in the wood are almost over, but the hedgerow is really coming into life.

Lots of Caterpillary things.

Beetles

My favorite, wild honeysuckle, I'm not so hot about bugs and the caterpillars.

Dartmoor and Haytor in the distance.

Amie would probably have loved the view if she could see that far.

Before any one asks, the orange socks are mine, you can't go walking in the woods and along the lanes and not be dressed to impress. Or maybe we can use them to be seen if we ever get lost up there.

Such beautiful pictures! I love to dream about visiting your country someday. I would love to just sit and picnic on one of those hills - what a dream that would be!

Bugs and caterpillars are not my favs but the teddys and Amie photos were wonderful. I guess the bears had a great view.
We took Baxter for a walk in a big park but didn't have a container. I held the push button to the water fountain while Clare scooped his hands so Baxter could drink.
I love the countryside and all that green.

I love this time of year when everything is green after the rains. Our back yard is really overgrowing and a lot of new wild flowers. We even have an oak that is growing nicely, so now we have two real trees, lol.

I can feel your hillside and little roads calling to us,
We can smell the sweet green fragrance and the honeysuckle.
If you look up in a tree- you just may see us sitting under the bear tree with Amie,
Such beauty- thank you again for sharing your world.
love

And when we say green we do mean GREEN! I hope Bear came back home for his tea?

It's all so lovely, Midge, just what I knew England looked like. I think you have the best taste in socks of anyone I know. I'm also with you on the bugs and caterpillars. Give Amie kisses for me and tell her she's a movie star!

What a beautiful place! I loved your little video. My sister and her hubby are visiting your area in July. I'm going to tell her to look for your teddy bears sitting in trees or who knows what else!
