If you didn't make Glastonbury

You didn't go ?

Some did.

Although, if you did go, then you might be one of the happy souls in the crowd.

There is always next year to look forward to.

I didn't go either.

Instead, we passed the day

splashing around in the stream outside of Soggibottom Cottage.

You never know what you'll find on your own door step sometimes.

Especially on a magical Summer's Day in June.

Typical Soggibottom Bear country.
We missed the music, but caught all the magic.

Who wants to go be in a crowd like
that when you can have such
beauty and splendor out your
door??? You lucky gal! TFS

Give me quiet countryside any day; Glastonbury is too loud and crowded for a gal like me. :)

I made do with watching Glastonbury on the TV with a couple of cold beers - the sound wasn't so great but no crowds!
That archway is simply beautiful- if I ever make it down your way, I'll make sure to bring my paints.

Splashing about in a stream sounds perfect to me- none of that jostling and crowds and expensive drinks.

Yes cool toes on a hot day! The weather broke here last night so we now have drizzle. :-)

A shady stream sounds absolutly perfect for a hot day- I would hate the crowds at Glastonbury but my cousins go and love it!

I much prefer the beauty of your photo's to being stuck in a huge crowd like that!

I laughed at your comment on my blog about using Rub and Buff on Amie...maybe we could all use some!!!

I do love your Soggibotom pics. Looks so very peaceful.
We've had a visitor. The Queen is here. Not here, here but here in Canada. Queen's Plate this weekend. (it's a horse race) It's also Canada Day on Thursday.

I think I would prefer the walk in the woods, it does look magical. What a wonderful place to relax and get the imagination going.
