Thank you so much! Summer solstice forever makes me think of Stonehenge. Some day I shall see it in person even though there are ropes to keep me from climbing!
I just looked up about Stonehenge, and read about it- for a refresher. It is such a mysterious looking place and looks like it would be so very quiet to visit. It looks sacred to me love tweedles
The TV messed up recording so I was watching Dr Who at Stonehenge last night and then the filming of the episode at the real Stonehenge. Wow what a priviledge for the film crew! Special place. :-)
I have been to Stonehenge once. My hubby's sister lives not far away from it. Ian used to go there for the solstice when he was young and it wasn't closed off to the public. Avebury is another place with standing stones and you can touch them. Beautiful.
Drove past the 'Stones' last week, never been for Midsummer, maybe one day. I can remember going as a child and being able to freely walk inside the circle. Thanks for your visit. I don't need anymore mice as my grandson has aquired a pey 'Blue Rat', watch out for my next post. Have fun, Angela.
I am about to give the 1925 bear pattern a bash.... I read that your bear has a 'growler'... could you tell me where I might buy one of these as I have searched everywhere!
Thank's for all your comments ladies. Also Tweedles and Scout.
I read every one, at this time of year I tend to be outside in the garden and not inside by the computer, so forgive me for not getting back to you.
Rebekah..... if you care to email me, my email address is on the Soggibottom profile. I can happily send you idea's of where to buy a growler :-) x x x x

And so you should! I went once before it was all roped off, to watch the sunrise on Midsummers day..but it was cloudy...

This is on my life list to see one day before I die!
It is mid summer already... Oh :(
You missed out Dr,Who - is he behind one of those rocks? (Unless you watched it on Saturday, you will think I am mad!)
