Patchwork quilt Cavalier King Charles

They both look and feel rather sorry for themselves this afternoon.
At least they shared the experience at the vets together.
A few days and I am sure they will both feel better.

23 stitches and shaved bits all over where her warts were resemble a patchwork quilt
(warts look better on Frogs Amie).
If she starts to rivet and croak and keeps heading for our garden pond then I will have to take her back to the vet.

The vet note that came back with Mew :-

Due to having the anaesthetic your pet may feel a bit sick and not want to eat tonight.

Mew went straight to her food dish. Don't think the notes were intended for Mew, even minus one tooth, she still has the rest !

Glad it all went well - they always tell you whatever treatment might put your animal off their food....it's never happened yet!

Hope she doesn't vomit it back up!! Most of the time they are just fine. Some people freak out when their pet comes home and sleeps the rest of the day. I am glad they are home with you and not that nurse!! hehe
Hugs, Lisa

I have a great saying. It's not what you know it's who you know.
Ladies thanks for all your good well wishes. Ames and Mew are fine. Actually the snoring isn't quite as loud tonight !
Mew keeps purring and giving kisses. x x x

Tugs at the heartstrings to see them, but i'm sure they'll both be fine again soon. I'm sure a few treats will make you all feel better!

cute little pets. i wish humans would act like animals. sleep for a bit and then get up and keep on going. too many of us like to soak up as much pity as we can get, i am not speaking from experiance mind you! hope they are doing well!

Aw, poor darlings... having teeth removed isn't so much fun, is it Mew? I can relate. Poor Amie, she'll need to wear a sweater for a while to protect her dignity. ;)

Give them extra snuggles for me, will you? And sending some for you too. xoxo
