We have had an otter and her cub in the river outside before, but to be honest we haven't got a Stanley the Raccoon. SHAME!

I think you underestimate the danger of approaching a racoon. These animals may look cute and be blessed with aesthetically pleasing faces, but they are also swindlers. During my last expedition we investigated the den of a family of racoons and found books of russian gypsy manipulation tactics, lots of stolen wedding rings, an original nintendo gameboy, surveillance monitors, and computers all linked up to perform high-scale hacking. These creatures know what they're doing. Don't be fooled, and don't get too close.
