Cleaning Stonehenge in January

Too early to go sightseeing, this is how Stonehenge looks near to The Winter Solstice.

It's something you never think of.
They have to pick up the litter at Stonehenge.
We were lucky enough or unlucky, depending how you look at it,
to catch this guy as we stopped early one morning. He is the spot in the yellow coat, look carefully...........................

Lots of pictures of Stonehenge, but this is view looking from the Henge . Deserted apart from the sheep on the plain.

If you read the blog during the Summer you will remember, we always feed the birds.

It's so beautiful. I have always wanted to visit that part of England, not for Stonehenge, but for the beautiful countryside.

I tagged you, yes you, Michele! :) It's a photo tag, so you have to go to the folder where you keep your photos, and post the fourth photo from the fourth folder. :)

Oh, but you should try rock painting too, it's a whole lot easier than it looks and a very relaxing activity. Great for kids and adults alike. :D

Have to tell you Bunny every one who goes past Stonehenge on the A38 hates this part of Wiltshire. The roads are chaos during the Summer and Winter isn't much better. The only thing to look forward to for us is that Stonehenge means an hour away from our destination.
I fib..... I love Stonehenge....even in the Winter, early in the morning, with the litter crew.
