1920's Travel Gramophone

Having a 1920's Gramophone is one thing, but if you have nothing to play on it, it is another.

Luckily for us, we found a couple of records.
Does the gramophone work?

OH YES!

Whoa, that's incredible! What makes it a "travel" gramophone? It could fit into a suitcase?

I don't think I would want it in my suitcase Tiffany, but it is portable. It works by the wind up handle in the front of the box. You can see it in the pic.

That's very cool! I LOVE playing records; mom gave our old record/8-track player to my aunt and uncle but I kept some of the better records. I like the scratchy sound it makes when it plays music, it's comforting and has good memories of my childhood. Much better than cds and mp3s!
