Having a nose around

Water went down guys....... sometimes it does, the man made bank has held again. But never takes to feel complacent about it.... today we woke up to a clear blue sky, river back to normal.

In the meantime the bad weather has given me the opportunity to do other things other than paint walls.

The nose you see is from the "new" bear, but as it is unfinished can't let you see yet.

I'm glad your waters have receded without dampening the cottage. Maybe you should lay in a supply of sandbags?

Thanks Don.
We have.
35 of them.
To obtain them in the first place is a story in itself. Quite a shamefull one on the place that issued them. But that is another story. In the meantime, the storm has passed. Sad to say we think of all those in the country that it hasn't...

As I was heading to the computer to turn it off, Don asked if I had been following Soggibottom. I said I was on it a couple of days ago...Not with the flooding, however! GR is on flood watch as well, but we have nothing to do with it. So glad you both are safe, no harm to your home, and you even got to almost finish a bear. A prayer for those who still have to contend with high water.
