Tilly May

I have been so busy knitting dog coats today that I have hardly been outside the door.
This is a photo we took of Tilly May the last time we were in Surrey. It's half term at school in a few week time and it will be the first time the active Tilly May has been to Soggibottom. I think Amie has already taken her toys out of her toy box. NO ONE TOUCHES CHRIS THE BOXER.

This is the finished small dog coat.

Amie is too big to try this one on, but Sneaky has just arrived and it might fit her.

Oh..... no.... not another seagull.......

Karina asked me why we have so many seagulls posted on the blog. Easy to answer, we live by the seaside. There are loads of them. They have even invaded the cottage.



Would you believe it, not a seagull in sight on the above photo.


Only Amie having a good time.

Her coat seems to be a hit this week. I have been asked to knit two of them for poodles. The small one isn't a problem and I have nearly finished it. But the other one is for a standard poodle and I have to adjust the patten. Maybe we can set a trend of Soggibottom, hand knitted dog jumpers. You will get the label that has Soggibottom on it, now that is worth a fortune, well, I wish.

Dog days on the beach

What can I say!

We had a beautiful afternoon.

Maroons and the beaches are open to dogs again.

We visited Exmouth Lifeboat station a few weeks ago. It was raining and the place was open and looked a dry place to shelter for a while.
We took some photo's and found it interesting. We think maroons are flares, but have to say we didn't really read the notice, but thought we would have another visit tomorrow.
The beaches are open to dogs, a huge plus for Amie. I will leave her the last word. As usual

WHY IS IT THAT WHEN YOU ARE UP TO YOUR ARMPITS IN HEAVENLY SEAWEED your owners think that you will come running back to them for one ratty measly dog biscuit?

Dartmoor Pool
