Two Peas in a pod

It was our 35th wedding anniversary yesterday.

It wasn't a hot and sunny day to start with but we went out anyway.

Anything to escape the noise that is still going on around Soggibottom. They have now moved from the back to the front of the cottage as they continue to dig the new water course. The only way to keep sane is to go out and escape the noise when we can.  Especially on our wedding anniversary.

At least the new water course is now starting to take shape.

Another plus, we were near the front of the car ferry over the river Dart at Dartmouth yesterday.

The sun started to shine and the grey sky cleared into brilliant blue.

Just the same kind of weather we had 35 years ago on our wedding day.  Time goes by fast when your having fun.

Just ask Freya.

Freya is over at The cat flap cavalier as usual. Please no one mention the word P O N Y.

Hi Midge!

Our sweet little Dartmoor Hare arrived this morning and you might want to take a look at our blog about her. She is just perfect!

Thanks too for the cute little fridge magnet.

One of these soonish days I will pack up the bear pattern and send it on to you.

Cheers and hugs,

Jo

Looks like a terrific way to spend your anniversary. It's good you can at least escape the earthworks for a few hours.

Happy, happy happy 36th year. We do wish the noise would end so you could enjoy life as normal once again, but that will come and if this helps prevent flooding, it's well worth the noise and mess.

You are right, Midge, Willa Mary formerly called Dartmoore Hare, is fitting in like a glove here. Everyone is charmed by her accent and we are sure she will keep it forever! Right now she is telling Little Bear and Old Lady about the Picksies in her former home. Would that be Pixies?
(Willa told me you might disapprove of some of the changes, but I hope not too much.)

Cheers and hugs,
Jo, Stella, Zkhat and Willa Mary
