Here are the demolition guys who have been given the unenviable job of taking down the yellow cottage next door.
You notice they only had eye's for Freya Rose Blossom until I asked them to look up. She is such an attention seeker.
It's been another cold day, far too cold to have to work outside... even inside the cab of a small digger.
Things are disappearing. There used to be a porch there yesterday.
A better close up of the front door.
After finding an English Civil war cannon ball and small dagger hilt in our own garden a few years ago, it makes us wonder what might be found next door.
We also have some musket shot that was found near the church in the village a few years ago.
If anyone is in any doubt about Spring being on it's way, although the skies are grey here, there is still plenty of colour around. Our local garden center is one of Freya's favorite places as she is allowed in.
Snowdrops in the hedgerows that are well away from the route of the new road.
Buds on tree's (we won't be telling the road builders where these tree's are either). They are well away from the route of the new road.
We even have frogs.
See you all tomorrow. Freya can be found over at Cat Flap Cavalier as usual.

I say that you should become friends with that demolition crew (through Freya, of course) and they may be extra nice with the noise. What you need is one of those metal detectors you see people use on beaches. Use it during the evening once the demolition guys are gone. You may uncover some great historic finds.
Snow drops and pussy willow spring is definitely on the way.
Love the frogs.
The demolition guys look nice. They are obviously dog lovers, which is usually a Good Indicator of Niceness, methinks. xx
So Freya's a man magnet. Not surprised. She's a cutie. You make very cute frogs.
At least with all the destruction around, you still have some sweet signs of spring.
I quite like that old door. Too bad I can't save it.
Awww bye bye no. 53!! Hope that if there are any buried treasure - it'll be dug up safely! Those musket and cannon balls and dagger are fab!!
But look at Ms Freya! What a super star! Yay!
Blue skies over here in London! Fingers crossed for spring being just round the corner!
Take care

What a pretty front door :-(
At least the garden center has beautiful spring color!
Love ya lots,
Mitch and Molly
Freya is a good friend maker, she loves to be out and about. We had sun for awhile, always nice to sit out in the sun for a bit, won't be long now.
Debbie
How much fun would it be to go with a shovel, after the workers go home, and see what there is? I would love to cross the Briney and join you, but we will just have to dream about it!
Cheers,
Jo
Spring has Sprung. Yeppee! The sun is out today too. Yea! We can well imagine Freya is fussed over. Have a terrific Tuesday.
Best wishes Molly
