Felt art, Rosie the retriever and a new mode of transport. Demolition. Week two day seven.

How to park a digger in a dining room...

A good idea to take the walls down first.

At least it was a brighter day to work outside.

Tomorrow our protection from falling debris arrives, at least that is the plan.

With all that's going on next door it hasn't stopped us from having visitors. Meet Rosie the Retriever. One of Freya's friends who loves having her photo taken. She has that beautiful Retriever smile.

This is a felt art gift from Karina.
My daughter isn't just a better artist than me, (if you ever see me with an artist paintbrush it's probably to put shadow on a teddy bears face) Karina is better at felting too.
All this needs is a frame.

See you all tomorrow, for another fun packed lesson on how to demolish a house.

If we can get him off of the phone...... :-) xxx

I hope they don't start that racket too early in the morning.

Freya has some sweet friends.

I love the felted piece that Karina made, that is beautiful and I like how she blended the felts to give it a painted look. I have been collecting felt, now i need to start playing with it.

Rosie is a doll. Karina is very talented indeed. That was a lovely gift.

Rosie the Retriever is a beautiful girl who would be welcome at our house anytime. Be a long swim though!

I will be happy when the cottage is gone and you can poke through the rubble. That could be fun.

Cheers,
Jo, Stella and Zkhat

Karina's art is so beautiful!
And Freya's friend looks very happy.
I think there is a big mess to clean up from those workers.

Karina is a very clever lady - lucky you, that's a lovely bit of work.
Glad the demolition is progressing well - I know how worried you were about it all. That chimney pot looks like it needs taking down very soon.

BTW, my tomato seeds have finally poked their heads above the soil. I think sometimes it helps to water them...whoops!
