Spring 2012 and Scribblings

Our visitors left on Saturday, the whole cottage went very quiet all of a sudden as it tends to do when our kids leave.
Freya has had a very spoilt time with lots of attention. The pots of white paint are still where they were a couple of weeks ago, unused I'm sorry to say. We still need to paint the cottage walls. Anyone who loves heights and would like to climb a ladder is very welcome to come and join us. I promise I will hold your ladder steadily and won't wobble it. Would I ?

I have a few of Karina's five minute scribblings to frame this week.

One of Freya we decided looked good as a header for Freya's blog. Thanks kids, a joint effort from Mark and Karina.
At least now Karina is older she doesn't tend to hide her scribblings under her bed as she used to when she was 12 years old. She leaves them on the coffee table and I pick them up quickly.

Glorious sunshine yesterday.

Spring has arrived at last, better late than never.

Freya just loves the beach no matter what season it is.

You can catch up with Freya over at THE CATFLAP CAVALIER

Aww Freya - you are looking amazing as ever!! Yay for glorious sunny days out at the beach!

I shall pass on the climbing of ladders and heights!! I have a loft ladder here (I will never use unless forced too! LOL!) and I have nightmares every time I look at it! LOL!

Take care

I wish I could scribble like that, so wonderful that you have someone who can do drawings that you can play with. My DIL is an artist, but never draws for me. Love your outdoor and Freya photos, so nice to have spring arrive.

Those drawings are great, and Freya is such a cute dog. I bet our Socks would love the beach, but the nearest one is almost 1,000 miles away!

I love Karina'a drawings, too. Such talent. And I think Freya's housemates love the beach as much as she does, although maybe not Frank:)

wow, Talents within the family and the wonderful drawing of Freya is impressive and eye catching.

Whilst I would wish to be a perfect gentleman and come to the aid of painting. Alas ladders, and the status of stability (lol) my Kirra has decided I should remain on ground level ;)

With such beautiful weather - we are blessed with the joys of adventure and our dogs encourage such enthusiasm.

Lots of Love from Kirra -x-
