Four dog family. Two shaggy dog stories.

It might be a Bank Holiday weekend but it's not the weather for straying far from home.
Finishing off projects that have been around for a time seemed a good idea.

We've been along country lanes, getting held up in traffic.

View of Dartmoor yesterday afternoon. Although we haven't been doing anything exciting, I wonder if you remember Bean. The little dog our eldest son Steven rescued from the cooking pot in Cambodia a while ago.

You also know our daughter's family dog Chops.

This is Cookie Bunz.. Mark and Becca's new arrival to the family today.

Cookie Bunz has been rescued from  a dog rescue that rescues dogs from Greece. I'm not sure of her whole story, what ever it is Cookie Bunz is now the proud owner of two doting dog lovers, all ready to dance to her every whim.

Wonder if she likes ice cream Ames.

What a face, Ames is making, lol.
Looks like she is wondering why so many guests, she thought you and her were going to spend the day in the garden;)

Love those photos, wish our roads were like that, then I would walk on them.

You have beautiful friends Ames! Ice cream is a favourite around here. I'm sure your new family will enjoy it just as much as you do.

Wow, Chops is looking magnificent these days!
So glad Cookie has found a good home - I've seen too many poor strays in Greece so a happy ending is lovely.

What dog doesn't like icecream - Clovis enjoys finishing off my lollies for me!
And my word verification is 'lightlik' - of an ice cream...

P.S. and you know you'll end up doing doggy-granny duty at some point!

Could there possibly be a pup who doesn't love ice cream? If you are serving, we are on our way.

I got to Chops and thought --- Drool --- What an adorable face.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and the comments. When I think of Devon it takes me back to swap cards and the beautifil scenes that were on playing cards. and of course the send world war. I have two prints that would have been bought in the 1940s of houses in Devon.

Cookie is settling in nicely :) she was chained up in Greece and had a red raw neck because of it! She doesn't hold any grudges though! She even met Chops tonight and I can tell they are going to be the best of friends :) xx
