It's been one of those weeks, when you feel your particular train might have left the rails.
This is a photo taken along a path bordering the train line beside the river Ex here in South Devon.
There are passing points that you can actually cross the line to the other side.... I have to admit, I'm not quick enough or brave enough to show you the view from the other side.
This is blurred but hopefully you get the gist, here is our little car being hauled away by two happy go lucky guys.
We had quite a few cars over the little bridge to the cottage last week. It even brought nosey Frankie de tabby out from hiding underneath the bird feeders. WE KNOW WHERE HE HIDES... SO DO THE BIRDS ON THE BIRD FEEDERS......
This is nothing like our little car....
There must have been an inch to spare as it came over the bridge.
This isn't our car either, but definitely a better size to come over the bridge.
This leafy lane wasn't meant for a car...
Probably meant for a carriage and horses from Powderham Castle.
So peaceful that even the deer in the park sit there and watch the world pass them by.
Or smell the roses in the hedge.
I know there was something we were meant to do with boxes and Freya's Catflap Cavalier tomorrow, but shame on me, I seem to have lost the link....
The new week starts here.
Freya is, as always out and about at the Catflap Cavalier.

Awwww bye bye car!! Is it really goodbye or "adieu see you soon when you are all fixed up and shiny new"?!?! Big hugs!
Please don't cross over to the other side with the possibility of trains coming along!!! :-)
Hello Frankie, Hello Freya!! Happy Monday! take care

It's still Sunday here. Father's Day and the family were over for a BBQ. A bit of rain now and we watched a bit of Luc TV. Good day overall. I owe you an email.
DId you get a new car or have to have yours fixed?
Love the photos, beautiful scenery and of course Freya is always a sweet sight.

We know your little car is in the hospital getting fixed, and we hope its all better soon.

I hope they fix your car soon. I'd love to walk down that leafy lane and pretend cars hadn't been invented. :-)
Hope you are mobile again soon. Whatever you do, don't order a load of food on-line from a certain well-known supermarket beginning with T. They would certainly never make it over the bridge with one of their wagons! xx
Hope the status quo is restored this week - what a pain, all because some silly person didn't look where they were going.
Oh I love that lane. I'd like t wander along the lane with my dogs sniffing along. Happy Solstice. Did you get up at dawn and dance naked at Stonehenge?
Such beautiful lush green scenery..love your beautiful pictures always..and awww...such sweet pups!!
Adorable!

Oh what beautiful pictures! I agree, a horse and carriage are better suited for those roads.
I need to go postcard shopping! I hope this one makes it to you unlike the one I sent from North Carolina...who knows where that ended up:)
What pretty nature pictures--I love those deer!
A great series of photos, those dogs are so cute! I wish we'd see something other than blue skies, I can't keep the lawn green even watering it regularly!
Awww, the last pic is so adorable :)
