Scratching around Dartmouth for the hornpipe

For the scratching around you have to watch the very end of the video.

On The New Dartmouth Ferry, Devon

Looking upstream towards Totnes.

You might notice Amie's boat somewhere here.

The slipway we are heading for.

This is it, the brand new Higher Ferry boarding for Dartmouth.

It's a short trip..................still £3.50 for a car.

Hardly any queuing like there used to be.

Amie thought it better than the old one, we were at the front going back and she likes being able to see.

You 'll find the video noisy, going back over the Dart towards the slipway on the Kingswear side.
It didn't sound as bad to us, it was a windy day, Amie and I sat in the car.
It's the sound of the engine, either that or someone paddling really fast!

Caravans in the West Country

Lots of campers and caravans on the West Country roads at the moment.

They are here in all weathers.

The good days and the bad.

Sometimes they get lost.

Sometimes they get to their destination and end up on the beach.

We haven't got a caravan or trailer or camper.
But we do know someone who was on holiday and staying in a caravan.
We went to visit. Here are our hosts, Gordon and Janice.

What did you think of all the caravans Amie?

"I liked the beach".....................................................

Soggibottom has an award

Thank you Dolores, the kind of thought we love here at the cottage.

Especially All the No 1. AMIE SOTO BLOSSOM FANS.
I do tell her but half of the time she looks up and goes back to snoring.................

Not just for bee boxes or how to felt a ted.
Although just think of all the bee boxes that have been made, all the bees that should be buzzing around next Spring because they have had some help. All the felting and creativity that has been going on! Great!

Always look forward to comments.
Always great to see the usual "red spots" from the usual places on the world map.
I can't add everyone, but it's fantastic to see old friends along with new ones who visit Soggibottom Cottage.

Keep clicking and hope we can pass the karma on.

Classic Car Show on Paignton Green, Devon.

We had planned to visit the classic car show this morning at Paignton.
The weather isn't so great and to slip and slide on wet grass is just not my thing, so thought you might like to see last years car show.

The sun shone and we had a beautiful day looking at all the cars. Amie had lots of fuss from everyone so she had a good time.

Not just boys toys, Bentley's can be for girls!
