I never knew that the old Dartmoor quarry that Amie loves to walk around supplied granite for London Bridge and part of the British Museum. The above photo shows what is left of the granite railway that took the granite down to Teignmouth.Dartmoor is about 16 miles away from us.
Feel really lucky that we live where we do. How many times have I said that?
