The days of long shadows are back

The days of long shadows are back. It's dark by 8.30 p.m.

The fire is back on in the cottage.

It's the time of year to find the warmest place by the fire and stay there.

If you move, your going to have a hard job getting back in the same spot.

Isn't that right Frank ?

Freya Rose Blossom is over at Cat flap Cavalier. as usual.

It's the same way here too. You move, you lose. I like fall weather. It makes it pleasant for walking.

We all like the autumn weather here, even the early nights. We don't have a fireplace, but my Mom tosses a blanket down and we snuggle on that. Perfect!

Cheers and hugs,

Stella

The weather has changed so quickly. It is quite a shock. Now for the dark mornings and nights. Have a terrific Tuesday.

I love the liquid golden light of September - the long shadows - I'm taking my camera everywhere I can. Not allowed to take it to work, and I see the most gorgeous stuff while I drive, dang it. Frank and Freya look SO cozy by the fire!!! And Midge, your top pic is just magical....
