From Cairns to Soggibottom


One of the best things in life....... to find a turtle grazing on a reef..................

  6. Wait... how big is that turtle? Is the turtle in the foreground, so it is actually the size of a thumb... or is it under the man (in which case it is huge!)?

    Or is it behind the man, and therefore worthy of Guinness Book of World Records!

    Now I'm afraid that huge turtles are in my ocean.

  10. Tiffany the turtle i saw was about the size of the biggest circle i can make with my arms..and it was beautiful, nothing to be afraid of, if you see one you will be very lucky :)

  11. I found a browns turtle mouching around a reef. It was just as I noticed the shark above me. Didn't worry about the shark, just wanted to join in with the turtle. Magical stuff.

    Why aren't I lucky?

    I had some soup made out of one! shell was a bit tough, but the rest was ok.
